Setting up Keep-in-Touch
There are several ways to set up a frequency for Keep-in-Touch:
Keep-in-Touch Page

We recommend using the Keep-in-Touch page if you're setting up frequencies for a bunch of contacts.
From here, it's a simple drag-and-drop. You have the option to set it up by Group as well.
Dex calculates the next KIT reminder based on two factors:
- Last Interaction Date
- KIT Frequency (e.g., every 6 months)
How It Works
If the last interaction date is set first, and then the KIT frequency is defined, Dex schedules reminders correctly. Example:
- Last interaction = Jan 1
- Frequency = every 6 months
- → Next reminder = Jul 1
If there is no last interaction date and a KIT frequency is set, we can only infer that the next interaction should be the current date + the chosen frequency.
Example:
No last interaction
- Frequency = every 6 months
- → Next reminder = 6 months from today
Quick Actions
If you want to go through each card quickly with shortcut keys, we recommend the Quick Actions page:

Contact Card
From the contact's profile, you can also set (F), snooze (H), or update the Keep-in-touch reminder.

Bulk Keep-in-Touch Frequency Edits
You can edit Keep-in-Touch (KIT) frequencies in bulk from the Contacts page, within a Group, or inside a View.
- Select the contacts you want to update or do a Select All.
- Click the Frequency icon.
- Choose the new Keep-in-Touch frequency to apply the change to all selected contacts.
This allows you to efficiently update KIT settings for multiple contacts at once.

FAQ
Dex will send you an email reminder or push notification (on mobile) when it is time to reach out. You will receive a notification based on the timing of the last interaction.
For example, if you have a 3-month keep-in-touch for Cameron and your last interaction was in June 20th, you will receive a notification from Dex to reach out on the morning of September 20th.
Open the Keep-in-Touch page and switch to the Upcoming tab. Overdue contacts sort to the top and their dates show in red.
For a regular summary rather than a page to check, turn on Weekly digest under Settings → Account → Notifications. It arrives on Sundays and covers upcoming reminders and birthdays.
