The WhatsApp integration syncs your messaging activity daily, automatically importing contacts from 1:1 chats and small groups (with fewer than five participants). By connecting your WhatsApp account via QR code, Dex tracks your most recent message interactions and updates contact timelines accordingly. The system also refreshes Keep-in-Touch reminders with each new message exchange, helping you stay connected at the right time. Phone numbers from WhatsApp are used to detect and merge duplicate contact records, ensuring your relationship data stays organized. All contacts are synced within one day of initial connection, with ongoing daily updates to keep your network current.
