We understand what you put into Dex is private. These are birthdays, friends, and anniversaries.

We're commited to handling data with respect for your privacy. This is why Dex is supported by subscriptions, not anything else. We never sell your data to to third parties.

Our Security Practices

Force all API transactions to use HTTPS; all data-in-transit is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS).

Encrypt all data at-rest at the storage level using AES256 (Advanced Encryption Standard).

All of our servers and databases are hosted in the US with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified providers.

We maintain complete, regular backups of user data to prevent data loss.

Integrated data policies

When users add data from third-party sources, any data we receive is never sold or used for advertising purposes. Remove your data and/or revoke permissions at any time.

Dex's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You control your data

Export all data or delete your Dex account at any time. Deleting your account will permamently remove contacts, events, and all associated data.
