The Dex for Teams Home for a venture firm’s workspace: the firm’s calendar, assigned reminders, keep-in-touch and network updates, beside the firm’s network, newest contacts and notes.

Your own Dex,
plus a workspace for the whole firm

A fund runs on relationships: with founders, co-investors, LPs and the operators who send the best companies your way. Most of that history lives in individual inboxes and calendars, one partner at a time. Dex for Teams gives the firm a shared place for it.

Everyone at the firm keeps their own Dex. The workspace is a separate space you add to it. You choose which accounts it sees and which contacts and groups go into it, and your partners do the same.

Get to know founders early

Walk into the founder meeting already caught up

A shared contact’s timeline brings together what colleagues have chosen to share: the email and calendar history, and the notes written after a pitch or a coffee. Read it before the meeting, so you pick up where your partner left off instead of asking a founder to repeat what they told your colleague last quarter.

Find warm intros through your partners

See who already knows them

Search a person or a company and see which colleagues know them and when they last talked. Before you reach out cold, check who at the firm already knows them and read the context they’ve shared. Then ask for the intro. No more finding out after the call that your partner had the relationship all along.

Stay in touch with co-investors and LPs

Keep in touch, as a firm

Set a frequency per contact or group, for the firm or just for yourself: a co-investor every quarter, an LP twice a year, a founder you passed on every six months. The keep-in-touch list shows who’s due, so an LP hears from you between the annual meeting and the next raise, and a founder hears from you between rounds.

The deal is in your pipeline. The relationship is in someone’s inbox.

Affinity, Attio and the spreadsheet run the pipeline: the deal, the stage, the round, and the notes someone took the time to log. Keep them. Dex holds the relationship side: who at the firm knows whom, the email and calendar history each person chooses to share, and who’s due a check-in. It isn’t a pipeline and doesn’t try to be one.

Visibility is opt-in, person by person. Each partner decides which accounts the workspace sees and at what level, so the firm gets the relationship without anyone handing over their inbox.

Add your own fields, like fund, sector or geography, so the people are organized the way your firm already thinks about them.

History that stays when an associate moves on

Associates rotate out every couple of years and partners move on. When someone leaves the firm and an admin removes them from the workspace, what they shared stays, with their name on it: the contacts, the timeline and the shared notes. Whoever picks up their founders starts from the record instead of an empty inbox. Their connected accounts stop feeding the workspace, their open reminders are unassigned for the team to pick up, and their personal Dex leaves with them.

Share the relationship, not the inbox

Some conversations shouldn’t leave the person who had them. For each connected account, you choose whether the workspace sees nothing, only subjects, participants and dates, or full content, and each note can be shared with the firm or kept private. If even the subject line is sensitive, leave that account out. You can change any of this whenever you like. Your personal Dex stays private.

Ask the workspace a question

Connect the workspace to your AI assistant through the Dex MCP server and ask it who at the firm knows someone at a company, or what’s been shared about a founder, from the tools you already use.

$40 per person per month

A four-partner firm with two associates is $240 a month; twelve people are $480. Billed monthly. Start with a 14-day free trial of Dex for Teams, no card needed, and add the rest of the firm as you go.

Start with one deal team

Pick a partner and the associates who cover the same companies. Add the founders and co-investors they work with, and let each person choose what the workspace sees. Before the next first meeting, open the founder’s timeline and see whether a colleague’s history changes how you prepare. If it does, invite the rest of the firm.

Built for the people who hold the relationships

Venture and growth firms

Partners and associates who carry the founder and co-investor relationships, and the platform team that keeps the portfolio connected to the firm’s network.

Family offices and funds of funds

Investment staff who work with the same fund managers and co-investors, and principals who want the firm’s history in one place before a meeting.

Accelerators and venture studios

Program staff and partners who share mentors, founders and the investors who lead the next round. The workspace works the same way. Your application system keeps the cohort.

Your team’s data, protected

Dex is funded by subscriptions, not ads, and never sells your data. A workspace holds only what each member chooses to share, and each member can change that at any time.

Hosted with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified providers

Servers and databases run in the US with providers audited to both standards.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Every request uses TLS, and stored data is encrypted at the storage level with AES-256.

Roles for the whole team

Owner, admin, member and viewer roles set who can add and edit in the workspace and who can only read.
