### What is Dex?

Dex is short for "rolodex" (remember those?) and is exactly that: a digital rolodex for the 21st century. Dex gives you a single source of truth to organize your connections across phone/email contacts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and 15+ other sources.

Dex goes beyond a rolodex and reminds you to keep-in-touch, notifies you of upcoming birthdays, and shows you where you left off. Most importantly, Dex puts you in control of all of your data. Unlike other prominent contacts apps, we will never sell or give your data to third parties.

### Do you offer a free trial?

Yes — every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. No credit card required to get started, and you can cancel any time before the trial ends.

### Do you offer discounts?

We offer student and non-profit discounts, and you save up to 40% by switching from monthly to annual billing. Reach out to support@getdex.com to verify your eligibility.

### How does Dex work?

Dex syncs with your existing tools — LinkedIn, Gmail, Outlook, calendar, WhatsApp and more — to automatically build a private database of the people you know. From there, you can add notes, set reminders, and keep relationships warm without the spreadsheet.

### How can I sync my calendar?

Connect your Google Calendar or Outlook account from the integrations page in your settings. Dex pulls in attendees from your meetings, so every conversation has context the next time you reach out.

### Can I import from Facebook?

Yes — Facebook is supported through our import flow. We never post on your behalf and only read the data needed to keep your contact list current.

### Can I import from LinkedIn?

Absolutely. The Dex browser extension syncs your LinkedIn connections in the background. The Premium plan covers up to 2,500 connections, and Professional extends that to 9,000.

### Can I import from Gmail / Yahoo / Outlook?

Yes. Connect any combination of inboxes — Dex parses the people you email regularly and surfaces them as contacts you can keep track of.

### What payment methods do you offer?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our secure billing partner Stripe.
